Lend against robot fleets.
Robot companies buy robots and rent them to their customers. Ferra arranges the loans that pay for those robots. Private credit funds make the loans. Ferra never lends its own money.
Our study covered 18 robot types
It runs to 17 pages.
Most expected losses come from the robot company failing.
Take away the risk of the robot company failing, and expected losses in our study fall from 5.2% to 0.3%.
What one loan can return to a lender
A 12% loan covering 70% of a robot's cost returns about 8% a year on one robot type, after expected losses.
